Birth of a Poem

A plethora of words bubble up effervescently in rhapsodic, evanescent waves, disappearing before grasped. They play dulcet tones wrapping through mind’s background with felicity and growing energy. A talisman… Get ready. It comes. The idyllic chrysalis matures into something more… Something as radiant as sapphires, Yet, more alive. A discomfort appears-- labor pains for each word each break. With a push of thought, it is born, bringing joy, comfort, to those who cherish it. Created from these challenge words from SO: plethora, felicity, evanescent, rhapsodic, idyllic, dulcet, chrysalis, radiant, sapphire, talisman.

Great description of the process. Interesting that you could write it from those big words.

Smiles, I'm a connoisseur if large words. They tease the palate and leave a imprint with the reader.

as the words are conceived the heart allows them to breathe so that others may perceive based on what they believe rather if the words achieve the ability to relieve stress and other things that cause us to grieve so that we may receive the message that the pen does bleed....this is wonderful jaycee....;)
