Beyond the Realms of Nothingness

I recall a distant time, Very late at night - With you, Still by my side; And still so Very much alive We were looking up At a clear Autumn sky, While the starlight appeared To breakdown and cry - And soon, I felt as if The moon may sink And then break apart As it fell away, through and through: Into the nadir - Of oblivion's impartial heart... ...But it was you, who sunk away Long before daybreak: Sank into a pit of despair - Sunken in, Sink-sink-sink, Sinking in your drug abuse; Lost to your own misuse; And the Moon...the Moon will always remind me of you...
