Beyond the Realms of Nothingness
I recall a distant time,
Very late at night
- With you,
Still by my side;
And still so
Very much alive
We were looking up
At a clear Autumn sky,
While the starlight appeared
To breakdown and cry
- And soon,
I felt as if
The moon may sink
And then break apart
As it fell away, through and through:
Into the nadir - Of oblivion's impartial heart...
...But it was you, who sunk away
Long before daybreak:
Sank into a pit of despair
- Sunken in,
Sink-sink-sink,
Sinking in your drug abuse;
Lost to your own misuse;
And the Moon...the Moon will always remind me of you...
