Beyond the Breakers Beyond the breakers, past the teens, partakers of life’s adulthood dreams, the mind swallows all it finds, land locked living, it leaves behind. Beyond the breakers, hopes set sail. Opposing tide’s not for the frail. In stronger winds, thoughts take flight, to horizons prized within one's sight. Beyond the breakers, depths are reached. Shallowness and shame are breached. Now the ship will endure the sea, with strength, truth and resiliency. 2/6/17

Such beautiful truths, Janis. I really love the vibe of your poetic style. It is so cool and refreshingly deep. I do love how you let the reader's mind take a dive into your ocean of thoughts and dreams. Sparkling poetry, my dear friend. Love and joy forever.
