Beyond the Breakers
Following contours of the spilling waves Spiraling through the barreling swells Surging past the foaming sea spray On the scent of swirling summer dress Venturing along the beach softening footprints Across the tufting dunes as dappled greenery waves Rolling onward caressing a small red foxes face Traveling past the outer banks cascading Through the flowing mane of black velvet mare In search of a single delicate petal of a lovely flower This journey of breaths from the sea comes to a peaceful rest as a daisy flutters and the zigzag ripples of the lake become still
