Beware if you find yourself in a dark dank place
You may become the prey of Old Schnozz Face
Don't bother spraying him with a can of mace
He's a Vampiric creature of the Mosquito race

I detest the sound of his buzz buzzing in my ear
When in bed, that irksome droning sound I hear
That long needle nose is a grotesque thing to fear
I'd put something in his bag that came from a pee'er!

"Mosquito Man, why do you bother wearing pants?"
His reply came across as more angry whirring rants.
If their needles break, can mosquitoes get implants?
He just landed on a painting, one of my Rembrandts

It's way past time for me to put this skeletal pest away
The plan I have in mind will put an end to him, I pray
I've been bitten and harassed for the last time today
I'm taking out the big gun to fry him with a gamma ray!

Lin, it is terrible to hear that buzz. You captured the feeling we have very well! We try to keep the doors closed quickly when we exit or enter, but lately they seem to be more vicious than ever. Real pains! Smiles!!

No air conditioning when I was a child, so we had to deal with them squeezing through window screens. You can only cover your head for so long before you need to breathe. I don't like the new vicious breed. lol Thanks for the remarks and smiles..

:))) Well done, Lin. My wife is very bothered by them, gets a huge welt from one bite. We use those electric zappers in the house, and they help greatly. Fun to hear them zap and fry also! Very creative, fun write.

lol you sound like a sadist, Joe, hearing the death zap of a creature. lol But I know exactly you what you mean, and each time you hear it, you wanna sing the song, "Another One Bites the Dust."

It's not for a contest here, Paula. It was written for one on another site. Thanks, and you're lucky if you've never seen a mosquito... annoying little buggers.
