I just remembered. "Precious", with Mo'nique!! This made me think of that, except that the mother was hardly love struck in the end of that movie!

This is a powerful one and so sadly true. Did you see that movie a while back? DArn, the title of it totally escapes me now. It starred some famous black actresses and was a highly reccomended movie on child abuse by Oprah Winfrey (I just know that title is going to pop into my mind the minute I go to sleep tonight. Why can't I think of it?? )

Many mothers do seem to look away when lovers endanger their children, Lay. So much said in such a short verse. Excellent and powerful message! Love, Carolyn
