Betrayal Leaves a Scar
My heart was bruised
I was simply shocked
Dragged through dirt and abused
I had opened my door and left it unlocked
I had been betrayed
Abandoned and left to rot in the shade
Watched as slowly I decayed
How could this be happening to me
What ever happened to destiny
And the mere probability
I was falsely accused
Didn’t know why I was brutally mocked
There should have been no reason to be afraid
Leaving but a scar and the mystery of empathy
