Best Friend
My best friend is there for me.
She does not judge me,
or hurt me,
but helps me,
all the time.
I do not deserve my best friend.
I am less than,
and she is more.
I wish that I could do
all that she needs,
but I am not able to.
I can never live up to
or even the score.
So...
I will ask you, Lord,
to give her grace,
and change her life
in this hard race.
Help her to be happy,
and never to be sad.
Help her to know
she is loved...
by you...
and
me.
