Beneath the warm and tranquil surface,
lurks a monster, a huge shark relentless and fierce;
cruel, he swims in circles waiting to attack,
an innocent, oblivious, poet gliding.
A real poet-eater with great razor sharp words,
beware of this savage destroyer of poets;
he is heartless and brutal maybe a bull shark,
because he likes warmth and attacks poems.
He is a coward who lurks beneath the surface,
if he should come close while you are a-drifting by;
just give him a sharp wack on his ugly big snout,
send him fleeing- a coward always runs away.
