Brings life
To the downtrodden
The poor, the weary, the one who dies
To find silent peace
Beneath the brush
Serenity discovered
Under the comforting eye
Of a artist, a painter
Who hides the darkness
Under the light
The discouragement
Under the motivation
The dread
Under the faith
The crude
Beneath amazing grace
Grace that sustains
The artist
With life that guides
The creative way
Toward art
That craves
Imagination and insight
Into a breath
Of passionate praise
With a splatter
Of the brush
Comes love
