Beneath a Cherry Tree

She held my hand, beneath a tree Leaning forward, a kiss so sweet The taste of her, like Cherry Coke Sunlit beauty a gorgeous smile Beneath a tree a kiss so sweet I pulled her near, wanting her close Pretty brown eyes, looked into mine As time stood still, my heart quickened Gentle breezes lifted her dress A kiss so sweet, like Cherry Coke Some memories, will never fade Me just a boy, she was sixteen A lovely part of yesterday I lose myself there for a while A gorgeous smile, she held my hand A modified Eileenesque Poem.

wow, so here is an Eileenesque poem. WE really have to get this form popularized somehow. She will be so thrilled about that if it can get around the internet!! This is a cool poem, Richard. I love cherry coke and I love the way this poem describes the feeling of a young boy in love.
