Bench in Park

Countries competing for supremacy, turn into heaps of dust and debris. Bitter pride has made the cradle still. Hearth, a smoldering charcoal Park bench empty and deserted No victor to stand over the dead. When it is over, nobody will be there, not even they!

Congratulations on your win in this contest with a lovely thoughtful "poème engagé" favouring protection of the environment through medium of a bench in a park, which is presumed to be a safe and sound place of rest. Sending you blessings of lihgt.

Mutual destruction...if the outcome then nothing was gained and everything lost. War is hell. Must find a better way....
