Being Kind
~
It’s not that hard to just be kind
to everyone you meet
While shopping at the grocery store
or walking down the street
Just wish someone a happy day
then wait a little while
And you will see before too long
they’re sure to wear a smile
Now lend someone a helping hand
when you see they are down
Show them that you truly care
and wash away their frown
When being nice to everyone
I know that you will find
Each day will bring a better you
when you are being kind
