Behold Him, Holy Is the Lamb-Win

Behold Him, have a good look
Be in wonder at what you see
He is the holy son of the almighty
Being offered as a sacrifice for
The sin of the world, behold him.

Behold him, have a closer look
Is he not spotless, sinless, gentle
And kind, without any harshness?
He is the holy lamb of the almighty
To behold Him, need Holy Spirit’s help.

Behold him; he is not just a “Lamb”
He is God coming down from heaven
To behold Him in the person of Jesus.
If we had eyes to see his perfection
Everything would be quite different.

Behold him; image quite compelling
Sweet and pure, lambs were offered
As a sacrifice on alter before God
The God offered his own lamb as a
Sacrifice on alter,to take away our sin. 

Behold his tortured body on the cross
Freeing us from bondage to sin
Behold the bleeding lamb for our evils
Behold him, calling us to take his yoke
Behold the reigning lamb giving blessings.
