Beginning
There is a sense of inner peace
As they come and leave
Knowing it was meant this way
And not for me to keep!
A stray thought that’s come knocking
Shaken my world, left it rocking
But I see the need to anchor real deep
As I try to put it to sleep !
I know this will also pass
Away to a world that’s farther than far
And if it does stray again
I will be stronger to face the pain !
