Before the Gates of Alahsar - Version - 2 - 12

Slowly, in great pomp and honour,
Ricciard leads his guard,
people on the parapet watching,
creatures of the night lands,
they have come,
ride on, men of honour,
into antiquities pages,
the Dark Man and the Captain,
they head the train.
Distant dreams of the long ago,
they played in the Dark Man's mind,
returning to Alahsar,
 the jewel in dream's crown,
such scenes as entering Alahsar,
they were ever silver threads,
locked within his memory,
within the immortal home.

A mighty cheer does go up,
more knights of the king's guard,
they leave Alahsar,
they were regaled in their finest armour,
as knights of old,
now, they race across the plain,
they are a golden light show,
Dragon shields on left arms,
swords in right hands.
These were the ceremonial guard,
the Dark Man was in anger's thrall,
his blood boiled,
A ceremonial guard for these abominations,
his anger was growing,
they were creatures of Dark Death.

Soon both groups would meet,
in the heart of the emerald green sea,
the ceremonial guard,
riding so proud,
surely this was not meant to be,
the Dark Man had no hate for these men,
many, were his friends.
A night of revel, in the gold city,
Dark envoys come,
spider riders on giant spiders,
hated creatures, both,
the Capt\in and his men,
they all peeled off to the left,
the ceremonial guard,
they now took their place

Let us leave Alahsar,
for a moment,
let the mead flow,
at the board,
let us have sustenance,
then, my Lords and Ladies,
I shall return to the song,
The night is but young,
our tale does go on,
the journey but still begun.
Soon we shall return to Badicha,
the emerald green sea,
when we return,
the song shall sing in your minds,
In some of our hearts,
antiquity shall ever live on.

Chapter..........2..........Part..........2..........1A.

Now, let us return to Alahsar,
400 of our human years, earlier,
It was the time of a great battle,
taking place of Badicha's plain,
now we see the grandeur of men of war,
the ancient pride of warriors,
the time when Death held great glory,
Oh, we shall see, we shall see.
The Dark Ones had stirred,
they came for blood,
They wanted to destroy all light,
they wished oblivion to all dreams,
none of those who fought then lived now,
DreamScape,
the world of dream,
"One only dies,
if the dream dies,"
this is what they always did say.

To Be Continued..........
