Heart is a neglected garden, diseased by an epidemic of weeds. Breathless, pining for your breaths - breathe passion into me so bees, birds and butterflies return. Cultivate soul with tender hands, propagate seeds sensually. Fertilise fragility with soft kisses, form a vision of Eden so bees, birds and butterflies return. Upon dawn's delight of delicate germination, intimately indulge deep into sensitive roots. In storms shelter in an evergreen embrace. In drought replenish like sacred drops of mercy so bees, birds and butterflies return. In what has become a monochrome existence, paint a masterpiece of magnolia meadows, flowing with amber, clementine, crimson and lilac petals. For this body is yours, do not let it linger in decay so bees, birds and butterflies return.

Spring is truly alive ... when your loved one makes you feel whole. A beautiful extended metaphor that gradually became more vivid as the poem progressed. Much enjoyed.

Birds are busy migrating, ours to warmer climates and your indigenous birds will stay put. Seasons change and like nomads, so do the birds - seasons must change - you are entering into the rebirth of Spring your butterflies will abound, as for our African bee I don't think swarms would be welcome as they are too aggressive (but are very productive) A masterful, imaginative write SO. Blessings, Jennifer.

An inspiring poem. The birds are out singing. Have not seen any bees, birds and butterflies. Hope they will be out very soon. It is Springtime a time for newness.

My father once told me to make something of myself. Your poem echos that sentiment. We should never stop growing. Wonderful poem my friend. Have a great day.

Silent One, Very well weaved, the colors flowed out of your pen to ignite the Spring Flora and Fauna. Yet there is someone missing from the opulent scene. We're no longer on the top of the food chain. -Richard

Breathe life into me.. it's like the whole world has just- stopped. Things will get back to normal, for all of us. We have to have patience and faith. The "Bees, birds and butterflies" still move about. They know- life goes on. Your thoughts caress gently around me. ~ Brandy

wow... the beginning sets this one up...diseased hearts need to be cared for just like diseased trees, or plants, and people... I see the world so differently now, more stars without the pollution of companies, more birds frolicking about... excellent write as always... hugs

Thought provoking S. O., how often we seem to neglect our ' garden', in these dark times you realise how precious life is and we shouldnt take it for granted. Stay safe. Tom

"The heart is a neglected garden", the body is an infected Land.. Nature heals human nature and within its shade we disconnect the soul from hate, worries and turmoil.. to connect with divine beauty and relish in sublime serenity that allows not the soul "to linger in decay"! A great musing with the scent of purifying Nature! I liked so much your wonderful piece of Art, Silent One! Thank you so much for sharing. My deepest regards and blessings.

Excellent my friend: In what has become a monochrome existence, paint a masterpiece of magnolia meadows...I liked the soothing, urging tone of your poem for revitalization of neglected garden...great metaphoric write.
