One painting shows a twilight sky. I gaze at it. It makes me sigh. I stand there for the longest time. Inside my mind there comes a rhyme. Beneath the brilliant sky I see the waters of infinity. And staring at the wondrous scene, I’ve now dissolved into its dream. I’ve turned into the waves that rise, which match the blue-green of my eyes. And as I rise, I long to touch the hues of sky I love so much. Deep violet and rosy pink of sunset’s sky begin to sink into the briny depths of me. I’m rhythm, rhyme, and sky and sea! Returned to this great poem I have fav. My favorite line is "I’ve turned into the waves that rise, which match the blue-green of my eyes. And as I rise, I long to touch the hues of sky I love so much." Many blessings friend

This is a beauty I missed reading Andrea. I was dealing with a lot this summer and Poetry took a real back seat at that time. I absolutely love this poem and it is going into my Faves! I love the connection with nature you express so eloquently. I wish you the happiest of New Years. Blessings xxoo

Andrea, some delightful imagery of sea, sky, and sunset all coalescing into poetry. 'I’ve now dissolved into its dream'... I feel that way sometimes when observing nature's beauty or the transcendence of gorgeous poetry such as this. Stunning and lovely, congrats on your win with Chantelle.
