Feeding the soul glimpses of grace,
Treasured hope and lasting light, feelings
Forever penetrating the soul who knows…
Love is like the most beautiful star, glowing
Always showing its intentions, bound by emotions
Yet colored in hues of the most tender dreams,
Flowing compassions and whispering empathies,
Desperate to be heard between the roaring
Past and the sickening dread of what we never shared….
Our hearts still and hush the wistful wind, blowing
Like the enchantment of a melody, forcing
Through the melancholic threads of recession,
Ever bending into the miracle of the chrysanthemum
Elaborate gestures embracing the blushing tones,
Sighing through the laughing lavender and brilliant bolds,
Gold singing its flickering ways through the brooks
Joy composed from hope and faith, forever praising
The worship of lasting grace, ever chancing miracles
Ablaze in the flames of autumn’s abundant gatherings…
Wherever we go, there is the beautiful glimpse
Treasured by the eye who sees past awkward twilight
Into the vacant thoughts of those who need to hear
Yes, love is here, love is rising with the aspiring heart,
Love is alive in the feelings that decide between
Yearnings and forgetting and releasing the senses
With songs playing back the music to you and me,
Gentling the feelings who hold the sense of peace –
Reassuring – warming like the secret in the cloudless
Skies, the foggiest storms, the faith that was born…
When I murmur about heavy dreams, trembling with smiles
Forbidding the night to leave behind its shadowy dusk,
Promising the wind to fight its way through the oaks,
Through emerald seas of pine, laurel and serenity
Faded luxury of moments combined with everlasting
Sensitivity, magnificence in showers of laughter,
Erasing the mystery with the chance to learn what it means
To see glistening hopes wearing soothing quiet,
Revealing the wonderful inside a rose’s pale silhouette,
Breaking through the petals, dewlike trails haunting
Each breathe, each longing, each dwindling kiss of yesterday’s
Awe inspiring perfection, the marvelous in forever….
When we will always be together, Him and me,
The One who died on a tree,
Three days passed, then He rose to show the world
What it means to love without expectations,
With everything – all the love there is,
He reminded the world what it means to give,
What it means to live and what it means to forgive…
He reminded each soul that there is a love
Beyond describing, forever surviving the doubts,
The pain, the grief, the sins that were shattered….
When He gave His life, He ended all strife that comes
From fears of dying, fears that are surely lying…
Because in the end, we begin again… in the heavenly realms,
Where He is ever there, giving hope to each prayer,
Silencing the doubts, reassuring the spirit that forever and always…
There is life after death, life that has been blessed….
By the One who lived and died and came back to remind
After we leave this life, we’re forever with the One so alive
That He is like the very air we breathe, the grace we seek…
He is the One who reassures hearts they are loved,
Comforts those who grieve and lifts souls in need…
He is the One who brings hope to the impossible, faith
To the unbelieving, love that trembles with what is more beautiful
Than any dream, any desire, any ambition… this love is filled with peace
That comes to those who believe in the One we should seek
When our hearts are afraid, when our hurts ache,
When there is only shame and disgrace…
He remains the way where there seems to be no way
He is the second chance when ever chance has consumed
He is the reason I can say… this love grows more abundant
With each passing day, comes more love than I can hold,
More love than I can show – it’s love that lives inside my soul
Because of HIM, the ONE WHO MADE ME WHOLE!
