I will see this through because the idea of you still shocks my spine with electricity, tempts my tastebuds with curiosity In the end I'll either adore you fearlessly and come to your arms with wild abandon, or have sucked every pretty word from our imagery, dulled it to prose I'll gently unfasten your roots from my navel and send you off not with bite marks or bruises, but with mercy I will spare you from a dramatic exit, because I care for you
