Because together we heal
My loss and your pain
Tears streaming
Two girls crying out
Begging to know why
Because you listen
Long nights talking
Sharing the fears
Sharing the pain
Because you are a friend
A friend before it all
Emotions grew
A heart slowly awoken
You brought back warmth
Because you shared your world
Welcomed me in
Let me be there
A mind holding you close
Show me a smile
Give me a laugh
Together we grow
Together we heal
Because of these
and so much more
