The garden lush and fresh with flowers in every hue,
oh, how you loved to play and rest yourself in shade;
I buried you in your sweet cat place with flowers blue,
how, I wept upon your repose until the stars did fade;
and the birds twittered at dawn- and still, still I stayed.
