Drinking from clear, gurgling streams, catching frogs, unfolding dreams, without iPhones, watches or clocks, sitting high on granite rocks - my memory is unwinding a young boy exploring and finding pumice and obsidian flakes in the mountains over Mammoth Lakes.

Those wonderful childhood memories are valuable treasures to hold. Very nostalgic write, David. Mammoth Lakes. I hope those DNA mammoth cloned mice aren't going to lead to those wooly beasts returning from extinction!

Thanks Lin - haha, yeah, I saw a picture of those. I only had 8 lines, so I got into the rocks, but i feel sorry I missed the beautiful flora and fauna of the area.
