The broken pieces beneath the chest
The blemishes on the thighs
This is a beautiful creature
This human is unique
The smile from redemption
This human is as substantial as the next
This is a beautiful creature
The soft tone, but the loud screams
The monster hiding inside
The distant look inside the eyes
This is a beautiful creature
The tears that flow like a river's current
The stares that only the nights owl has to offer
The brain full of catastrophe
This is a beautiful creature
Not only women, but men
Not only strength but weakness
Not only in sight but blind
This is a beautiful creature
The tally marks on the body tell a story of defeat
But the scars show survival
This human is unique
This is a beautiful creature
