Beautiful Black

Hello black, How adorable you are Behold, matchless beauty Unlike that which your eyes see everyday Glossy sable skin, That deflects the scorch of the sun Coal black, with a radiant glow like gold Thick and strong, a true African woman There is nothing, As white as your alluring eyes Not alabaster stone, not even snow It shines brightly under the darkest night Your long tresses, And their cascade fall over your shoulder Gives you the enchanting visage of a goddess Yemoja, from the flowing African deep Your captivating countenance, Tells of the land where coal black queens Touches the soil at all quarters Africa, an abode of black seraphic women
