Beautiful, Beloved.
I'm sick tonight
with thoughts of you
alone and lost
What can I do?
I cannot wire
I cannot fly
What can I do
to satisfy?
Singular
and unafraid
Yet still I fear
you'll surely fade
What will you do?
What have you done?
And aren't you someone's
loving son?
I can't pretend
to know your eyes
I've never wished
upon your skies
My feet have never
touched your ground
Yet still I'd miss your voice,
the sound
I'm lost tonight
with thoughts of you
alone and sick
What can I do?
I cannot breathe
for you tonight
I cannot bid you
hold on tight
I'll send these words
and kneel to pray
For what more can
I hope to say??
