The woeful Chicago Bears football team
  Hibernated in caves this June to dream
    Of winning their first game 
    But they exited tame ~
  Green Bay Packers turned them into whipped cream

Yeah. It once was the best rivalry out there. The last four Bear Coaches haven't honored it, however. Last one to do so -- Lovie Smith.

Gershon, your poem could have been written about my hapless Denver Broncos! Dreadful last year and this year doesn't promise much improvement. Not much results from a $245 mill QB and an $18 mill coach!

Erm… all this whipped cream… I don’t suppose there were cherries on top… I love a picnic. I care not for football (not even soccer) but I do love your ability to turn a sporting defeat into a scrumptious desert… Yum!

OH STOP IT!!! you'll tune in again next week.....such is the curse of the lifetime fan. And the PATS gave it away and then tried to get it back......same outcome

Ha, ha! I for sure won't tune in next week. Already have other plans! (It's Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year). Won't be tuning in for at least three Sundays after that either. (More Jewish holidays). Lucky me! Bears will be 0-5 when the holidays are over, I hope!!! Hope they leave Chicago and go FAR AWAY! :) gw
