Hi Panagiota, I agree with Andrea, we all like to know our poems are being read. I mean.. isn't that what this group is all about? I think it all has to do with our individual lives though. I am a culprit at this sometimes too, it just seems there's not enough time in the day to read everyone's poetry every day even weeks sometimes. But I do try to show my face to all my friends eventually. Love your poetry..I think I'll write a poem to share my thoughts (lol) Sending love dear. Charlie :)

No problem. We all have schedules, family, and some of us, illnesses to be with, too. Not all of us see well, nor are super typists, and some are on slower devices. While I fully embrace your 5th stanza, I am, as yet, not in a place to accept such as you are. A compulsion that makes me feel extra alive brings me to write & I need to know why/what I'm to do with such. The attitude in your poem is admirable and certainly expressed bravely with feistiness in your truth statements, for true they are - there's no denying that our 'truth' is between us and Him, all else is perspective; still, I'm not there. Good one, Panagiota. sadly, there are some super poets who do not read other poets or comment to them, and their works lie buried here as a result of that. You are so right: nobody can truly judge "best" here. It's all so subjective and that title is earned only when poets here put in lots of time to participate and to network with others. Myself, I do not need slaps on the back but i do enjoy knowing my works are being read. Your deserve that too. You're a valuable poet at this community.

Andrea, many thanks. I won't even mention the hours I spend here. But, I no longer look for comments . I am into commenting only. No more daily Poetry. Some will cheer)) I am on a break. some do read my poetry and to all that do..,I hope it was good enough. There is life beyond the Soup.)) Hi Richard, I do like this poem, do as do you.please Never feel obligated to comment to me. I want you and all to be free Free to respond to any poem you like. Too much group think here. I am amazed at the great poets that are neglected over and above premium or best.And no comments to their perfectly crafted poems. How can they be Best ever, if we follow the same poets as if they were gods, hmm? Best to me means being loving, not a numbers count. I am telling it like it is. Hidden beauty buried under best lists. I enjoyed my day meeting new people. It was like finding treasure. With 600 poems, many are of mine are UNnread and finally it's OK with me. )) woo hoo!Panagiota
