Flutter dear heart Let this mystery start Of entwined lace And God’s holy grace With scented chiffon flowing Smoke from the chimney blowing And stifled salted tears From memories through the years. Melancholy laments What my love represents. Indispensable betrothed vows That soft emotions arouse. Paradox wandering wishes When organza dress swishes. Insurmountable summits reached From the pulpit they preached. Windswept wavering boughs, Mother nature endows. Blueness of an inked nightfall Hearing the whippoorwills call. Lost inklings of flight forward. Sending the boat shoreward Only what gravity allows Smoothing furrows from brows. Placing white roses The beauty it exposes Death beyond dreaming Lilac waters streaming. The cosmos pines for your smile In hallucinogenic style. Ornate oil carriers Impermeable barriers. Cute kitten’s whiskers Intrinsic soulful whispers Ballerinas take a bow Awakening senses now Seeking a solace haven Enter Poe’s raven. Unveiling a nom de plume Playing a lilting tune Blooms that have died Potpourri keeping petals inside. Rest in repose sweet one In the light of the golden sun Dance light hearted Sweet maidens departed. Lilies in vibrant pink Daisy chains, each a pure link. The organ played a dirge Soft pastels joyfully merge All sins apologetically displayed Retribution humbly made. Roses sweet scent endow All hushed breath now Still flying through raindrops Let my heart beat til it stops. My bed in soft grass under a willow Pluck a cloud from the sky as a pillow. Toe shoes for the dance Unarguable romance. Reeks silence how? Speaking do they disallow? What avails after parting? Humming birds darting Cherry blossoms flourish Dew drops to nourish Waterfall magically flows Love softly tip toes. Crystal beads scatter Crystal goblets shatter Supernatural miracle so strong When forgotten the song. Delight of exploration Expels adoration Pixie tulips to sip The crack of your whip. The syrup of dandelions’ The lei from Hawaiians. Blithely taunting the innocents Their own magnificence Remain with me tonight Taste the delight. Gestures of faith galore Left wanting more. Incipit inquisitive imps When first its you I glimpse Drums implode Home to our own abode Symphony succumbs to quiet. Existing of a mango diet Pigtails and puppy tail Orchid tender and frail. Moonscapes beaming Shimmering brook streaming. Catamaran sails Chocolate ants and frog’s tails. Dripping caramel nectar See the clam shell collector. Mistletoe with cinnamon bows Pretty in resplendent clothes Bells ringing in tune the song of the lune. Ornate candles melting with fire Children at play my hearts desire Snow covered rooftop sparkling icicles drop Rides in a horse drawn sleigh A quiet time at the break of day Sun streaming through. Love ignites anew. With the wind howling Soft terry toweling The lace curtains billow. Head on my pillow. Thus this mystery is more Than I dare to ignore Bejeweled memories to adore As my dreams wash ashore.

Wow…Reading this, i felt as if i were journeying along on your stream of consciousness roll of your life, and found myself admiring your view on things as you encountered them…Too many descriptively notable lines and phrases to list. Very innovative profression. Quite original IMHO. Would like to read more like this if possible. Applause!

Sheesh Sally ! Have you any idea how long that took me to write ! lol You want another ? Hehehhehe, I wrote one kinda like that last year, but couldn't remember it. I looked but I know it had an Edgar Allen Poe quote with it. When I find it I will repost it just for you and rename it :Sally's Poem. Thanks for your lovely words.
