Be Satisfied With Yourself

I think we spend way too much time looking at other people and wishing we could be like them. What we don't realize is that the people we admire so much have problems of their own. Sometimes serious problems that would be such a heavy burden that if we had them we couldn't bear up under the weight. We all have our own cross to bear and while we may think ours is heavier than someone else's we really have no idea what they live with . It's better to be thankful for that which is ours. Sure go ahead and try to better yourself. God wants us to do that. But don't try to be something we are not. Be happy with ourselves and don't try to immitate our brothers and sisters. Just Be The Best You That You Can Be.
Be happy just within yourself.
Don't try to be part of the crowd.
Be satisfied with who you are.
In yourself be proud.
Be the best You, you can be.
Don't try to be like your brothers.
When you do that you disappear.
You're a carbon copy of others.
Don't try to be Miss Popularity,
The prettiest girl in town.
Don't try to be like some football jock,
The most sought after guy around.
God had one thing on His mind,
When He created you.
He gave you certain attributes,
The things that make you You.
Don't insult Him trying to be,
Something that you're not.
Learn to use your abilities,
And perfect the things that you've got.
God's gift to you is what you are.
Be happy in your own skin.
What you do with His wonderful gift,
Is your gift back to Him.
