Be My Valentine

In a silent room, I have time to think It can't slow down for a second What am I missing, what is this weight on my heart Tugging at the strings of emotions My heart beating faster and faster it won't slow down Why, because I'm thinking of you You rip the heart of me, innocent thoughts of romance The brightest fantasies harvest time Like looking at gilded art I have no shame spilling my heart I want, I need, something beautiful Filling the space that needs to be taken up The downward spiral, writing lines of red magic Signing up for a prayer that will listen to my plea I live in a world of melodies Melodies that sing for the one I crave The harmony may be filled with a sound of greed But it is also true and endearing My body is aching This heart of mine is trembling Holding on to my self control Longing, what you witness is what you want I want you to be my Valentine
