Be Holy As Your God Is Holy

I read of a saviour's love... his righteousness and glory. I also read of a God who is awesome and holy. Without holiness, no man shall approach his throne. If one day you expect to make heaven your home. When it comes to holiness... many have a "different interpretation." It's the sincerity of your heart that get's God's attention. Many in church have made the idea of holiness a joke. "I can be Christian and curse, drink and smoke!" It's what goes into your heart that pollutes your eternal soul. The blood of Christ needs to daily cleanse and make you whole! When you totally fall in love with Jesus and lay at his feet. It'll be your hunger for his righteousness that'll be sweet! Then an appetitte for God's holiness in you will arise. A desire for God's beauty shall captivate your eyes. It's only in Christ alone where you'll find a true treasure. You won't want the things anymore that once gave you "pleasure." Holiness from God is yours-- just for the asking. It will lead you into a life that is complete and everlasting! By Jim Pemberton 2008
