Be Brave

It's easy to ignore the things you see
We can easily dismiss or reason it out
The violence we see, the people that need help
somebody else will help, I have to go
What if nobody helped
What if the injured animal on the side of the road
Didn't get the help it could have
and instead of recovering
it died slowly.
We fear what we don't know
We find comfort, in daily schedules
The help we give can be extraordinary
Be brave! and help people we don't know
Be brave! and save an animals life
Be brave! don't ignore it
Be brave! feel the rush of something good
Be brave! and maybe you will find
Something you did't know was missing in you all along

Be Brave.

I think what you say in this inspiring poem is so true, sometimes we just need to look outside of self and what we will see" in self" will amaze us, well written~~

When we display acts of kindness and compassion to others, it returns to us tenfold. We need to seize every opportunity to act courageously because we will certainly find something we "didn't know was missing...all along." Very inspiring and uplifting poem, Crystal! Love, Carolyn
