Bathing In Love's Glory
if only i could paragraph your breath,
i’d encompass myself in eden’s beauty…
our lips avowed in a kiss held in an
abyss of lingering reminiscence,
never seized in laden avails, solitude,
no more-
consensually seeking the same
connection of a mirrored reflection
that sees an adoring image,
and NEVER being able to unlove you
i consider all the ways i can prove
my dedication of vows sworn-
phrases of metaphors and syllables
to announce just how utterly blessed
we are that angels flew to us carrying
ten thousand ivory doves
no mount can keep us apart
as i bathe in the glory of love’s
cascading affection-
my expectation is this…
to shower our perpetual love in ecstasy
