Bashful Sun

Come out from behind that distant cloud, don't be so bashful, we won't hurt you. Spring flowers delaying their growth without your light to shine on them. Gardens having hissy fits, without your heat to dry up the water that the rain sent. So don't be bashful, or shy come on out and shine for us once again. Written 5-23-11

this is a really good one for utah right now. The sun barely peeks out, and rain clouds come out yet again. I can count on one hand the truly awesome sunny days we have had ALL spring! Great little poem. Luv, Andrea

cute poem James. I talk to nature all the time. I used to tell the sun the same thing when I lived north in Vt. It never listened to me for the most part. Now in Fl that is not the problem this year. I'm talking to the clouds t0 come. we have been in a severe drought. All the same lets tell nature to trade off a little . :) enjoyed your poem and the memories it brought forth for me. - Robert
