Baseball Trip

The Mets triumphed! I have been a fan for many years How many of you out there in the darkness care about what happened in Citifield I even have a T-Shirt which shows the Brooklyn Dodgers on it They were a ground - breaking team Allowing the first black player to show off his skills They also had the great Sandy Koufax Who some considered to be "King of the Jews" To his credit he took off on the high holidays and inspired poetry when he did!

Wonderful tribute to baseball. It used to be AMerican's favorite sport until Stupid football came along and ruined everything. Uggg, I hate that sport. Baseball is so much nicer.

I agree - baseball is nicer. I do follow other sports. My sister prefers football and says baseball is boring. I don't agree with that and will probably write more baseball poems in the future. Peace & Love Matthew Anish

Mazel Tov to Koufax! My grandson, Eddie is a Little Leaue All star. He's quite the pitcher. Plans to be in the MLB. They attend many A's games. Baseball is a big thing in my family. My son in law taught me some of what you mentioned. Good piem Play Ball! Panagiota
