Barb wire fence ---I stand in front of a barb wire fence --- As they taunt as always, from the other side People who have returned with the dark clouds Thinking I will stupidly try to cross the fence You still haven’t learned, I suppose you never will Pathetic words spewed about, echo in fierce wind Blowing, just as you need the wind to do for you Your life is spent preying on innocent victims The sickness is deeper than anything imaginable Yet, given a million chances for help you refuse Instead, you choose the endless dark road to travel --- Lined with a barb wire fence --- Heidi Sands 7/27/17
