BAR MY WORDS You can pluck the radiant flower But can you steal its essence? You can clip the bird’s wings But can you steal the clouds from her eyes? You can put off the blazing fire But can you stop breathing its smoke? And you for sure can bar my words But can you steal the light from my soul?
