Shun the bait while there is time Not all moments are made to rhyme There is greatness in rising after fall But, sometimes, better to shun the call Hands of temptation sway too often And your heart, it tends to soften But, you don't always eat the food Even if the taste is good See your path, open your eyes Being careful is being wise Trust not, even the golden path For, some golds are filled with wrath Sometimes it's better to walk slow For you to see the coming blow For, deep pitfalls are often unseen And sweet persuasions are in between Babel, bait blank... poetry contest 3rd place
