You ask me where we go from here
And the truth is I really just don’t know
For so long now I’ve been at your every beck and call
Until I just cant do it anymore
You tell me that I’m the one you want
But the things you do just don’t say the same
Lord knows I still love you
With every beat of my heart
I’ve been here thru it all
I’ve seen you come and I’ve seen you go
And in the end its always my heart that hurts
But not this time
Something inside me has changed
Now I kno I am strong enough
Not to let this get out of control
I’m the same girl you used to know
And I know that we had was real
But that the love we once shared is gone
And this is a game I just don’t want to play
You know just how to keep me holding on
But you said it yourself you’re not gonna change
And I don’t wanna be just another girl
I wanna be somebody’s special someone
The way I used to be with you
All I’ve ever wanted
Was the us I miss so much
Back when I was your one and only girl
Back when your whole world was all about you and me
But I think you’ve made it clear for me to see
That’s just something we may never again be!!!
