Back To Work

First day back at work The holiday has ended I was a man of leisure or so I pretended The days went by fast I wish they were slow All that's left of my vacation Are the pictures I show Jet lag and a headache A tan and a smile Some European fashions Added to my Style Time to earn more money Save for the next trip So I can get back to a beach With a Margarita to sip

Nothing blows a vacation buzz more than returning to work. I remember sometimes wondering why it faded like a distant memory the moment I walked in the office door. AND one needs a day at home between vacation and work. Very relevant and relate-able write ... CayCay

Ha! This is how I felt coming back from Wales (though there was definitely no tan to show... Brits getting tans is somewhat unheard of!). I've always viewed jobs in two different ways: the first being a chore you do to earn money to live, so you can enjoy your free-time... the second being that your job is doing what you love, and the free-time at home is just a bonus. Btw... I went to my first pub in the UK (drinking laws are different over there)... fun times!
