~Back to Me~
All my life I have been hard on myself
Even when things are not my fault
I blame myself
The more that I have blamed myself for everything
The more I have hated myself
Now I see it is time to take a step back
Reflect on my past
Ask myself to keep an open mind
As I take myself
~Back to Me~
I have already spent too much time
Hating on me
While I know, it was my choice
I cannot help but wonder
What life would have been like?
If I had the knowledge
To know better
Would I be sitting here now?
Taking myself
~Back to Me~
However now is not the time for what ifs?
It is time to move on
Let the past be a lesson
Live in the moment and enjoy the present
Look forward to tomorrow and all its mystery
In addition, keep on loving and living
To the best of my ability
So I can be the
Best me I can be
