At first, he'd meant to make a difference. But, he lost his ideals making deals- the back-room, you-scratch-my-back-I'll-scratch-yours, backstabbing variety... It's more than clever. You have an ability to see right through people. Plenty of groupniks, few really willing to be genuine. Easier to make believe nothing is wrong and swim with tadpoles. That's what I got out of your poem. really liked it)) California Panagiota xoxo
