Back Into Infinity

Back into Infinity In the uncertainty of chaos, we wear our smiles wide, wide, In the miles as we travel with the gnawing Jaws of Eternity nipping at our heels, Conspiring with gravity— time burns through the energy that you are There is no dearth to the ineffable force that pursues you, The earth with its soft, supple, soil is fertile and laden with vital rot To help you ease your way back into infinity. There is divinity in dirt, The scent of the earth— the beauteous decay in your nostrils beckons Gravity in concert with entropy patiently pulling you back into the soil Blending you back into infinity.
