Baby Got Rap

Late one night I went for a walk, my husband and I, just had a fight, really convinced, it was all his fault. Out on the track, I was huffing around, looking real weird in my night gown, talking to myself, walking round, and round. Two policemen were passing by, I tried to explain the gown and all, but on that radio, they made that call. We have your wife, and she is going in, you can sign her bond, and she can go then, I knew that man was wearing a grin. Downtown we went, with me in the back, I screamed real loud, I left my purse at the track, so they turned around, and took me back. Finally we arrived at the station door, I never had been in there before, they put me in a cell with someone who snored. Finally, my husband came to get me out, I tried to tell him how it all came about, but he just laughed, saying out loud, baby got a rap. Not funny to me, but I'm glad he came, those two police, thought I was insane, but I did it to myself, I had no one to blame. Now, I never go out by myself, that night downtown, um, bad memories it left, we laugh about it now, but then, miserable I felt. The moral of my story is, stay home.
