Baby Don'T Go

No amount of words could keep her from leaving 
Repetitive words spewed in her direction 
Lost looks of uncertainty 
Groans of gigantic proportions 
Tear ducts betrayed her and sprung a leak 
Frozen stiff, my heart remained rapidly alive 
Her runway walk out of my life was quite insidious 
At that moment, I drowned in waves of embarrassment
