Babe In a Bar
she lit the cigarette like a movie star
slowly and deliberately
every move for the camera
blonde hair thrown back
moist lips part open
smoke riseing in a lazy ribbon
he couldn't take his eyes off her
here was a Marilyn Monroe
waiting to be discovered
he reached down
checked out his wallet
what the hell
the war was over
and he felt lucky
