B Movie

Stein was a stone wall, merciless, tough
We sent him to kill; he had the right stuff.
Cruel when he had to be, feared all the time
Walk on eggshells, he can turn on a dime.

I invited him to watch a movie, tearjerker from sixty-eight
The plot was like syrup, the acting second rate.
I noticed tears in his eyes when the girl falls off the cliff
He knew his image was in trouble, so he went on this riff:

The wind stings through the window; it would make anyone cry.
And some kind of mosquito flew into my eye.
But we were shook up, we needed him to be mean
And here he was crying at a B-movie scene.

I said "in this job you can't melt into a puddle
"Are rumors true you have a teddy bear that you cuddle?
"A hitman cannot be weak and soft
We need you to be made of stronger cloth."

So we reassigned Steyn to Medicaid theft
No blood and gore; it was the last option left.
I was shocked at this Wise Guy who cries like a child
But Stein sometimes misses the call of the wild.

Stein left his office, joined the FBI
He felt dissed, because we didn't trust the guy.
Exposed our operations, then went off the grid
All because of a B-movie, he did what he did.

Now I'm sitting in a courtroom, listening to the case
The prosecutors smile when they bring out their ace
Steyn is crying as he names names, its kind of rough
But he had to prove he had the right stuff.

I was thoroughly entertained, thoroughly. GOOD job. I'm sure the poor dude just had allergies, NOT.

Thanks! An interesting sidelight is that there really are some awful types who like romantic American films - Kim Jong-il was one such person.
