Awry

Things go awry but life moves on anyway
There's love and laughs and takes for gain
For every high there is low and loss the same
A fight against change let my good times stay
Please remain please remain they never stay.

Things aren't right but life moves on anyway
The further from the center the more we cycle and change
Until our change too starts to stagnate
Somewhere between we see spring to heat
'Till the leaves are no longer green or breathe.

Things get ****ed but life moves on anyway
How lucky are we? To wonder and dream
Of a life where we might have shared love between?
When the empty we heed echos of a world in need
How lucky - just how lucky - are we?

You sure put perspective to things here, when things go awry-- life indeed goes on and I needed to read something like this..."awry" yes, I really like that word somehow-- really enjoyed this poem of yours Justin. And thank you for passing by my poem with your kind words/
