Skillful pen here Donna. I didn't even know supplication was a word but you define it for me here solely in the context of the pines growing and soaking in the sunlight, kind of like fulfilling their potential or something along those lines...Congradts on winning 2nd place! Also thanks for the other comment, it moved me in a way I'm not used to...never had a poem defined as 'multi-dimensional' before. It meant a lot to me:)
